GL&V provides dependable products to improve productivity and paper quality, such as our latest Headbox technology, the BTF™ Headbox, which allows mills to achieve unparalleled basis weight profiles through stable, uniform headbox feed.

GL&V’s BTF™ hydraulic headbox is ideal for virtually all fourdrinier applications, from low speed to high speed, light weight to heavy weight, single-ply to multi-ply, coated and uncoated. The BTF hydraulic headbox is unparalleled in its ability to develop tensile ratio, fiber orientation and sheet formation, with exceptional performance on all grades. The BTF Dilution Control System employs high-performance state-of-the-art dilution profiling that provides the highest level of CD 2-sigma dry weight profile control, especially on hydraulic headbox applications. Reduced variability in CD weight distribution translates into reduced sheet caliper variation, and very often provides reduced moisture variability. These changes can result in significant energy savings through more efficient pressing and better face contact through the dryer sections and can positively affect coating operations.

The GL&V Turboform® Concept3™ forming board system improves the fiber and fines distribution throughout the sheet by inducing micro turbulence and accurately controlling the drainage of the water and fiber suspension in the early stages of the forming area.
All GL&V dewatering elements can be offered in EVO2® polyethylene alloy for maximum durability; suitable for all positions on the table.

GL&V offers a full range of doctoring products from the wet end through the dry end of the paper machine. Our custom designed dewatering double doctors prevent rewetting and offer a dryer, stronger sheet into the press section.
